Birmingham Housing Stories - Part 2

In the second episode of this series telling stories of housing need in local communities in Birmingham, we hear from community worker Louise Jones about how failures of the housing system disrupt children’s education and places a heavy burden on their families. The head teacher at St Michael’s primary school, Phil Hynan, talks about the transience of the school community, and how a significant factor in this is unstable housing, which impacts the educational development, wellbeing and mental health of the children.
