CHA opens first seven homes
Church Housing Association (CHA) celebrated the official opening of its first housing scheme on Friday 17 April – seven new affordable homes at Innsworth, Gloucester – in a ceremony that marked a significant milestone in the Church of England's response to the housing crisis.
First CDA planning application submitted for affordable homes
The Church Development Agency has submitted its first planning application for new homes in the Winson Green area of Birmingham. The proposal would deliver 17 new homes for the Church Housing Association and is part of the Church of England’s wider work to unlock land for much-needed social and affordable housing.
Church Housing Association gains approval from social housing regulator
The Church Housing Association (CHA) has just completed the registration process with the social housing regulator and is now an RP – a registered provider of social housing. This will enable its work to begin formally, under the leadership of Aileen Evans.
