Our fifth anniversary… a video snapshot

This short video, premiered at the Church of England’s General Synod earlier this month, provides a glimpse of how far the Church Housing initiative has come, five years after the Coming Home report was published. The Archbishops Commission on Housing, Church and Community lamented the housing crisis and proposed a strategy for the Church of England to respond to housing need.

It called on parishes and dioceses to use some of their surplus land and property to provide affordable homes in community - to meet people's social and spiritual needs, not just material ones. Take a look at how that's starting to bear fruit...
